Oikos Institute for Social Impact Selected for National SCALE Cohort The Oikos Institute for Social Impact is excited to announce that we have been chosen—through a highly competitive national process—to join New Growth Innovation Network’s SCALE program (Strategic Capacity for Advancing Local Economies). Over the next 12 months, our team will participate in the Community Wealth Building / Real Estate Impact track. Through this opportunity, we will receive tailored coaching, peer learning, and a fully funded learning trip designed to accelerate projects that create lasting change. For the Oikos Institute, this selection aligns directly with our mission: helping congregations and community-based institutions reimagine and utilize their real estate for social impact. By strengthening our congregational clients’ ability to transform underutilized assets into tools for community growth, we aim to expand economic opportunity, drive local development, and create thriving neighborhoods. The SCALE program is part of NGIN’s Small and Midsized Cities Hub, which supports leaders in communities of 30,000–500,000 with insights, innovation, and capital.
